When a FortiGate cluster is created, FortiGate name can be entered manually. If a FortiAnalyzer client wereto be installed prior to the FortiGate cluster, FortiAnalyzer will createa FortiGate device with the FortiAnalyzer name. If the FortiAnalyzer client isattached to a FortiGate device that already exists, FortiAnalyzer will detectthe device and automatically create a FortiAnalyzer device with the FortiAnalyzer name.
When a FortiGate cluster is created, a FortiGate group name can be entered manuall. If FortiGate group name already exists, FortiAnalyzer will recognizethe name and automatically create a FortiAnalyzer group with the FortiAnalyzer name.
When a FortiAnalyzer client is installed on a FortiGate cluster by manuallyenabling it, the FortiAnalyzer client will detect the FortiGate cluster. If FortiAnalyzer already has a FortiAnalyzer client installed on the cluster, the existing client is uninstalled. If not, the FortiAnalyzer client is installed on the cluster.
When a FortiAnalyzerserver is installed, the server will detect the FortiAnalyzer client. If a FortiAnalyzer client is already installed, the existing client is not uninstalled. If not, the server installs the client.
Clients and servers are not installed on the same machine. In order to properlyinstall and uninstall clients and servers, it is necessary to execute the setup.exe on the master machine, then run the setup.exe on the slave machine. d2c66b5586
